Docs North | Docs Nord

Docs North | Docs Nord is a workshop program organized by Flash Frame Film & Video Network. During the workshop, emerging and independent film, television, and digital media
producers from Northern Ontario learn about the art, craft, and fundamentals of filmmaking from leading experts.

Participants and mentors benefit from the sharing of skills and knowledge. The diverse groups we bring together gain practical knowledge and share ideas regarding filmmaking, animation, new media, and interactive and web-based media projects.

Docs North 6 | Docs Nord 6 will take place over 5-days in September 2023 and will teach participants on the essentials of documentary production using the theme of Isolation. This year, we are targeting practising media artists, youth, and community activists of all ages from Thunder Bay and around Northwestern Ontario.
